Despite all of our efforts, spam occasionally creeps into Lovetastic e-mail accounts. If this happens, click on the “flag message as creepy/spam” button on the message view page and we’ll be alerted immediately to the problem. (You may then delete the message.) In most cases, we promptly delete the offending user’s account.
The purpose of Lovetastic is to help gay men find love and lasting relationships. If you receive a message from someone trying to hook up or otherwise sending out creepy vibes, click on the “flag this message as creepy/spam” button on the message view page and we’ll promptly investigate and take steps if appropriate.
Inevitably, you will be contacted by at least one person that you are not interested in. Do them a favor and respond anyway even if it is just to tell them “no thanks”. Respect others as you would want them to respect you.
Tsk. Tsk. You know better than that.
Indeed. We believe in openness on Lovetastic, and we encourage people who aren’t interested to reply and say so. We know it’s hard to let other guys down, but you’re not doing them any favors by leaving them wondering.
Click on the “Messages” tab and then the “Sent” sub-tab. There will be a column next to the message in question called “read at” telling you when and if the message was read. Please be patient in waiting for replies. We all procrastinate. And a lengthy delay in a reply is common. Don’t necessarily take it as rebuke.
