I'm a 30 year old Greek guy living in London. I have been working in CG animation for six years, and recently decided to stop working full-time for a while in order to push my own film ideas. By the time you read this profile I will either have propelled myself succesfully into international superstardom, and made enough money to buy love, ergo won't be checking for messages, or will be filling out my 26th application for a license to busk inside a dank Tube tunnel.
On the side I also record / compose my own music. I play guitar, flute and a bit of bouzouki, and also sequence some tracks on the computer.
I'm looking for someone who is / might get into some of the same stuff I'm into, so we can do things together. Sexually I'm attracted to bearish top guys.
The Lord of the Rings. I'd like to be an elf. Sip mint tea, twiddle a harp, then sit up, squint into the distance, and say, 'something stirs in the East'. Occasionally I would wander down to where the bears hang out.

I am just *so* passe.
Do you subscribe to the old school Mac/PC dichotomy?
Only when it's rained in my garden. The whole place starts crawling and glistening then.
Scooping snow off the bonnet of a car with my best friend.
The Third Policeman--Flann O'Brien
What a Carve Up!--Jonathan Coe
'Inside the Penal Colony' and 'Metamorphosis'--Franz Kafka
I like all flavours of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Balkan music. I especially like Cafe Aman, Egyptian jeel or sha'abi, Greek smyrneika, and Bulgarian dances. I just like anything built around eastern modes and/or complex rhythms, from lo-fi village recordings to swish Arabic pop.
Some of my favourite artists:
Xaris Aleksiou, Fairouz, Nancy Ajram, Hakim, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Rachid Taha, Glykeria, Fadl Shaker.
I grew up on prog rock / thrash metal and still get the occasional kick out of that stuff.
Recently I've also been getting into hard-to-categorise bands, like Mr Bungle, Estradasphere, Secret Chiefs 3, and the Mars Volta.
My favourite classical piece is the Rite of Spring, by Igor Stravinsky.
Children of Men; V for Vendetta; Pan's Labyrinth; Alien; the Thing; Akira; Life of Brian; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; A Room For Romeo Brass; The Triplets of Belleville.
Grew up on Star Wars but really hated the new films, though I think the worst film I ever watched must have been "Night at the Museum".
I love European comics. My favourite artists are Edika, Reiser, Vuillemin, Serpieri, Liberatore, Bernet. I like underground American artists like Dave Cooper and Jim Woodring.
I also like figurative painting / traditional illustration. Some of my favourites are H.R. Giger, N.C. Wyeth, and Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. I really admire the new school of concept artists, like Carlos Huante.
I really like the jist of cognitive psychology. A lot of that stuff has been really useful to me. I hate hearing it used by people in self-excusing intellectualisations, though.
I like Marxist ideas. At the very least they help you look at society and politics critically. I don't think capitalism is somehow programmed into human beings. I agree that centrally-planned state socialism was a dismal failure, and am not sure what the alternative is.
