I identify myself primarily as gay, Christian, and a classical musician. My faith sustains me, but I have learned to acheive this apart from the strictures of any organized religion. My art fulfills me and informs nearly all that I do.

I am mainly a Classical music person, especially Schubert, Grieg, Mozart, Schumann, Brahms, Stravinsky, Bartok, and Poulenc, but not necessarily in that order. I do like jazz on occasion, as well as Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Nickel Creek, and Allison Krause.

I really enjoy entertaining and cooking, and for special occasions, I like to bake, especially at Christmas time. I am a Christmas fanatic--trees in every room, garland and greenery all over. One of my most favorite places to visit is the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
